Computer Training - Certified Instructors, Local & Affordable
Windows - Is your "Program" list getting a bit big? Click Start, Programs (or "All Programs"), right-click on any item and choose "Sort by Name." Now, you're organized!
Internet - Not seeing the whole page? Hit F11 to temporarily view more. Hitting F11 again, toggles it back. Very useful on text-intensive sites!
Word - Double-clicking anywhere on an un-edited portion of your document will place the cursor there, automatically inserting as many hard-returns and alignment changes as necessary. This is called “Click-anywhere-and-type.”
Excel - Formatting cells is one of the largest tasks you'll run into. Instead of pulling down the "Format" menu and choosing "Cells," just hit Ctrl-1 (that's a one). Big time saver!
Access - To make an existing database into a split database: Create a new database file. This will contain the back-end data. Open this file and right-click anywhere in the Tables section. Select Import from the shortcut menu and import all the tables from the original database. Now open the original database, delete its tables & create links to the tables in the back-end.
Cost of Employee Turnover Retaining key employees is more important than ever. Turnover hurts the bottom line! Few CEO’s understand how much money their companies spend when having to replace employees Employee turn-over is not only costly, but lowers moral for all team members. Take the time to train employees, monitor their performance, and meet with each one on a regular basis. It is more productive to take the time to properly train and retain the employees you have than to have to hire new ones. Check out this example:
